Aus urspr\u00fcnglich elf Kandidaten <a href=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/2019\/10\/07\/nach-angriff-bei-csd-christian-will-mr-gay-germany-werden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(MANNSCHAFT berichtete) <\/a>wurde am Samstag der neue Mr Gay Germany 2020 gek\u00fcrt: der Frankfurter Benjamin N\u00e4\u00dfler.<\/h3>\n<p>Er ist 30 Jahre alt und arbeitet bei einer Versicherung im Aussendienst. Seit gut zehn Jahren ist er mit Christophe zusammen, vor zwei Jahren haben sich die beiden verpartnert, noch kurz vor der Ehe\u00f6ffnung. Letztes Jahr hat ein Kumpel von uns mitgemacht. Ich fand die Idee ganz cool, dass man sich bei dieser Wahl nicht nur auf das \u00c4usserliche konzentriert. Jeder Teilnehmer muss ja auch eine Kampagne entwickeln und zur Verbesserung der Situation f\u00fcr die Community beitragen. Wir sind zwar in Deutschland schon recht weit, aber die Frage ist, wie die Gesellschaft auf Homosexualit\u00e4t schaut. Da ist noch einiges an Aufkl\u00e4rung zu leisten, um es uns, aber vor allem den zuk\u00fcnftigen jungen Schwulen deutlich einfacher zu machen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Du hast dir das Thema Homophobie im Fussball ausgesucht \u2013 warum?<\/strong><br \/>\nIch war mit Bekannten unterwegs, und wir sprachen dar\u00fcber, was man so in seiner Freizeit macht. Als ich sagte, ich gucke gerne Fussball, kam die Reaktion: H\u00e4, du guckst Fussball? Ich dachte, du bist schwul? Da dachte ich, das kann ja irgendwie nicht sein, dass man mit Fussball ausschliesslich Heterosexualit\u00e4t verbindet. Darum will ich das aufgreifen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hast Du selber mal Fussball gespielt?<\/strong><br \/>\nIch habe fr\u00fcher in einem Dorfverein gespielt, daher kenne ich auch die Spr\u00fcche. Was war das f\u00fcr ein schwuler Pass?! oder So ein schwuler Ball! Deshalb habe ich mich damals auch nicht getraut, dort offen zuzugeben, dass ich schwul bin. Erst nach dem Absetzen durfte man trinken. Mit 17 oder 18 fragst du dich dann zweimal, ob du dich traust, da nicht mitzumachen. Also war ich im Verein, wo ich gespielt habe, bis ich 20 war. der Hetero.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wie willst du das Thema angehen?<\/strong><br \/>\nDas Gute ist: Fussball hat eine sehr grosse Reichweite und Popularit\u00e4t in der Gesellschaft. Hier kann man viel bewegen. Der 1. FC K\u00f6ln hat ja am 6. Spieltag in Regenbogenfarben gespielt, aber das sind nur einmalige Aktionen <a href=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/2019\/09\/25\/anpfiff-unterm-regenbogen-koeln-setzt-zeichen-gegen-homophobie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(MANNSCHAFT berichtete)<\/a>. Wie ist denn ein Verein intern aufgestellt, wie steht er hinter homosexuellen Spielern? Aktuell gibt es ja keinen offen schwulen Spieler.<\/p>\n<p>Nur einer hat es in seiner aktiven Zeit gewagt: Robbie Rodgers, und der bekam auch von seinem Verein LA Galaxy grosse Unterst\u00fctzung <a href=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/2017\/11\/08\/vier-jahre-nach-dem-coming-out-robbie-rogers-beendet-profikarriere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(MANNSCHAFT berichtete)<\/a> &#8211; das fand ich genial. Er treibt mich an, wenn es z.
