Mai wurde in Br\u00fcssel feierlich das auf Initiative vom RainbowHouse entstandene riesige Gem\u00e4lde von Ralf K\u00f6nig in der N\u00e4he des Grand Place eingeweiht. Nun wird dem K\u00fcnstler Rassismus und Transphobie vorgeworfen.<\/h3>\n<p>Von den 12 k\u00f6niglichen Figuren, die die Br\u00fcsseler Wand schm\u00fccken, beruhen zwei Figuren auf \u00abtransphoben und rassistischen Vorurteilen\u00bb, liess das queere Zentrum den K\u00f6lner K\u00fcnstler in einem Brief wissen, aus dem jetzt <em>Der Spiegel<\/em>\u00a0zitierte.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"Ic5rbhcTeG\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/2017\/06\/16\/das-alter-ist-ein-konkreter-scheiss\/\">Ralf K\u00f6nig: &#8222;Das Alter ist ein konkreter Scheiss!&#8220;<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe title=\"&#8222;Ralf K\u00f6nig: &#8222;Das Alter ist ein konkreter Scheiss!&#8220;&#8220; &#8212; Mannschaft Magazin\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" src=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/2017\/06\/16\/das-alter-ist-ein-konkreter-scheiss\/embed\/#?secret=Ic5rbhcTeG\" data-secret=\"Ic5rbhcTeG\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Neu ist die Kritik nicht. Im vergangenen Sommer hatten unbekannte Sprayer die Worte \u00abTransphobia\u00bb und \u00abRacism\u00bb \u00fcber zwei Figuren gespr\u00fcht &#8211; eine Dragqueen und eine schwarze Frau. Neu ist, dass das Rainbow House nun forderte, K\u00f6nig solle sein Gem\u00e4lde nachbessern; im RainbowHouse sind verschiedenste queere Organisationen der Region Br\u00fcssel untergebracht.\u00a0Bei der Schwarzen st\u00f6rten etwa die grossen geschminkten Lippen. Zudem wirke \u00abihr Gesichtsausdruck \u00abunintelligent und abweisend\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>K\u00f6nig hielt in einem Facebook-Post dagegen, \u00abdicke\u00bb Lippen habe auch die Drag Queen &#8211; und zwar weil sie stark geschminkt sei -, und spricht &#8211; Mich schaudert bei dem Gedanken, in so einer Gesellschaft zu leben: verbissen, aggressiv, immer einen Grund suchend, sich selbst und sein Weltbild zum Alleing\u00fcltigen zu erkl\u00e4ren. Ich zucke mit den Schultern und mache weiter wie bisher.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Damals, 2015, hatte das RainbowHouse zur Wahl K\u00f6nigs noch erkl\u00e4rt: \u00abWenn du auf Ausgrenzung und Diskriminierung hinweisen willst, sind Humor und eine positive Einstellung die besten Mittel, um gegen Stereotypen anzugehen\u00bb. <a href=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/2017\/03\/12\/ralf-koenig-erhaelt-wilhelm-busch-preis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vor eineinhalb Jahren wurde K\u00f6nig mit dem Wilhelm-Busch-Preis ausgezeichnet, wegen der \u00abunb\u00e4ndigen Komik\u00bb und \u00abpointierten Gesellschaftskritik\u00bb seiner Werke<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"m0Abz43KRL\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/2019\/03\/06\/gay-erotic-art-in-japan-gengoroh-tagames-kampf-um-sichtbarkeit\/\">Schwul in Japan? Es ist ihre Wand, sie k\u00f6nnen damit machen, was sie wollen! W\u00e4re schade, klar, ich kriege immer noch spassige Fotos von schwulen M\u00e4nnern, die sich vor den kleinen Paul stellen und auch ihr T-Shirt heben! Das scheint eine kleine Sitte zu werden.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Von \u00dcbermalen ist nun in Br\u00fcssel nicht mehr die Rede. Das RainbowHouse ruderte vergangene Woche etwas zur\u00fcck. Man l\u00e4sst das Gem\u00e4lde, wie es ist &#8211; inklusive der aufgespr\u00fchten Kritik.
