href=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/tag\/trans\/\">trans<\/a>, schwulen, nicht-bin\u00e4ren und lesbischen K\u00fcnstler*innen kollaborierte und sie einlud, durch Musik, Kunst und Poesie auf die Gef\u00fchls- und Gedankenwelten von LGBTIQ aufmerksam zu machen.<\/p>\n<p>Im New Yorker Underground der sp\u00e4ten Neunziger und fr\u00fchen Nullerjahre verhalf ihr dieses Vorgehen dazu, zu einer der wichtigsten F\u00fcrsprecher*innen der Community aufzusteigen.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mannschaft.com\/ein-jahr-nach-schuessen-in-schwulen-bar-pride-zieht-durch-oslo\/\">Ein Jahr nach Sch\u00fcssen in Schwulen-Bar: Pride zieht durch Oslo<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Ihr gemeinsames Projekt mit dem Ensemble The Johnsons, das selbstbetitelte Deb\u00fct \u00abAntony and the Johnsons\u00bb sowie sp\u00e4tere Zusammenarbeiten mit Hercules and Love Affair taten ihr \u00dcbriges und etablierten die Stimme einer S\u00e4ngerin, die klanglich wie thematisch f\u00fcr G\u00e4nsehautwellen bei Zuh\u00f6renden auf der ganzen Welt sorgte.<\/p>\n<p>Nach insgesamt vier Alben mit The Johnsons und zahlreichen Gastauftritten auf den Platten gesch\u00e4tzter Kolleg*innen (u.a. Musikalisch unterstrich die heute 51-J\u00e4hrige ihre Identit\u00e4tsmetamorphose, idem sie f\u00fcr \u00abHopelessness\u00bb neue stilistische Wege beschritt. Sie kehrte dem experimentellen Chamber-Pop, der sie ber\u00fchmt gemacht hatte, den R\u00fccken zu und erschuf gemeinsam mit den Produzenten-Koryph\u00e4en Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never ein avantgardistisches Electro-Meisterwerk. Ein Wagnis, das sich auszahlte und dank der EP \u00abParadise\u00bb (2017) sowie einer Reunion mit Andrew Butlers Hercules and Love Affair f\u00fcr die LP \u00abIn Amber\u00bb (2022) zwei beeindruckende Zugaben erhielt.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abMy Back Was A Bridge For You To Cross\u00bb ist das erste Album mit den Johnsons seit \u00bbSwanlights\u00bb (2010) und stellt Anohnis R\u00fcckkehr zu ihren Wurzeln als Songwriterin dar. Statt Synthesizern und computerprogrammierten Beats nutz sie klassische Instrumente zur Untermalung ihrer Ges\u00e4nge. Akribisch recherchierte Hegarty f\u00fcr ihre Lyrics und entdeckte, dass Marvin Gaye bereits Anfang der Siebziger auf \u00abWhat\u2019s Going On\u00bb \u00e4hnlich mahnende Worte benutzt hatte, um auf die Gef\u00e4hrdung unserer Umwelt aufmerksam zu machen.
