Seine Fans unterst\u00fctzten ihn und kommentierten u.a. \u00abLiebe braucht nie eine Erkl\u00e4rung\u00bb und \u00abDie Leute mit den Plakaten sind bereits in der H\u00f6lle und wissen es nicht.\u00bb Wo die Demonstration stattfand, ist aus dem Posting nicht ersichtlich.<\/p>\n<p>Bowens, der aus New Jersey stammt, outete sich 2017 als bisexuell und 2019 als schwul. Er und sein Freund Michael Pavano betreiben zusammen einen YouTube-Kanal. Und Bowens setzt sich seit mittlerweile vier Jahren f\u00fcr Sichtbarkeit von LGBTIQ im Sport ein.<\/p>\n<p>Gegen\u00fcber <em>Sports Illustrated<\/em> sagte er im Jahr 2019: \u00abIch vertrete die LGBTIQ-Community und LGBTIQ-Athlet*innen, aber nicht nur das: Ich vertrete das Kleinstadtkind, dem gesagt wurde, es w\u00fcrde es nie zu etwas bringen, und ich bin da f\u00fcr das sch\u00fcchterne Kind, das bereit ist, ein sozialer Schmetterling zu sein.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Er liebe das Profi-Wrestling, seit er 5 Jahre alt ist. \u00abIch wollte nicht, dass meine Erfahrung ruiniert wird, weil andere Wrestler dachten, ich h\u00e4tte aus den falschen (sexuellen) Gr\u00fcnden daran teilgenommen\u00bb, erkl\u00e4rte Bowens bei seinem Coming-out 2017.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Zu wissen, dass ich einen positiven Einfluss auf die Menschen habe, ist ein Segen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00abDer Ring ist mein Heiligtum, wo nichts anderes z\u00e4hlt. Ich konnte den Gedanken nicht ertragen, dass ich, wenn mich oute, die meiste Zeit damit verbringen w\u00fcrde, mir Sorgen zu machen, ob sich die Person, mit der ich k\u00e4mpfte, unwohl f\u00fchlte und nicht mit mir arbeiten wollte.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Aber zu wissen, dass er einen positiven Einfluss auf die Menschen habe, sei ein Segen.
